Free intro call

Thirty minutes to see if we're a good fit.

Tell me what's happening in HubSpot, or what you want it to do. I'll ask a few questions, answer yours and tell you straight if it's a project, a strategy hour or nothing you need me for. Not on HubSpot yet? This call is for you too.

What we'll cover

Six things, every call.

Your thirty minutes, not mine.

This call is really about figuring out whether there's a good fit. Nobody leaves wondering what happens next.

Intro call notes30 min
  1. Your issue

What's happening in HubSpot (or the tools you use now), and what should be happening instead.

  2. Where things stand

What's built, what's in progress and what hasn't started.

  3. Your timeline

When you need it, and what "done" looks like for you.

  4. Your HubSpot setup (or plans for one)

Which hubs you have and at what level, or what you're weighing if you're not on HubSpot yet. Starter, Professional and Enterprise change what's possible.

  5. Your questions

Ask me anything, including whether I've done this before.

  6. A clear next step

If I can't help, I'll tell you. If I'm not the right fit for you, it's okay to tell me. We either walk away, no worries at all, or map out what working together looks like and set up the next steps.

Want to make it count?

Send a few bullets before we talk.

It turns the call into a conversation about your problem instead of a recap. It's what I ask everyone who books.

Short on time? Come anyway. We'll cover it on the call.

From: Jonathan SnavelySubject: Before our call

To make sure our first conversation is productive for you (and not just a recap), it would help if you could send a quick summary ahead of time:

  1. Where HubSpot stands today
  2. What isn't working (with the setup, or with your current help)
  3. Your target timeline, and what "done" looks like
  4. Any brief, SOW or scope document you can share

After the call

Every intro call ends one of three ways.

Either way, you'll know where you stand before we hang up.

It's a project

I scope it in writing with a fixed fee before anything starts. Implementation and onboarding start at $3,000.

How implementation works →

It's one question

You don't need a project. A $150 strategy hour gets you an answer in your own portal.

It's not a fit

I'll tell you on the call, and point you somewhere better if I can.

In their words

What it's like to work with me.

“Our organization needed help with an existing HubSpot instance and Jonathan was able to successfully take over the HubSpot Admin responsibilities and help us with all of our needs.”
Michael M.
Director of Revenue Operations, inquirED
“Jonathan saved me lots of time, energy, and errors customizing HubSpot to meet our needs.”
Amy B.
Founder, Shining Light Fitness
“Rather than assume anything about how we'd built things, he made sure to ask for clarity with a simple "was this intentional?" and talked it through with us instead of guessing.”
Ryan T.

About the call

Is it really free?

Yes. Thirty minutes, no cost and no obligation. It's a conversation to see if we're a good fit, not free consulting. If you want advice on one specific problem, that's what the strategy hour is for.

Is this a sales pitch?

No. I'll ask questions, answer yours and tell you what I'd do. If it's not a fit, I'll say so, and it's okay for you to say so too.

Who will I talk to?

Me. I'm the person who would do the work, so nothing gets lost in a handoff.

Do I need to prepare?

No, but a few bullets ahead of time make the call about your problem instead of a recap. If you're short on time, come anyway.

After the call

What happens next?

If it's a project, I send a written scope with a fixed fee. If it's one question, a strategy hour may be all you need. If it's not a fit, you'll hear that from me.

Can we talk under an NDA?

Yes. Share what you're comfortable with on the call. If we move forward, a mutual NDA covers the rest.

Can I bring my team?

Yes. Bring whoever owns the problem or the budget. Just let me know who's joining.

Let's see if we're a good fit.

Thirty minutes. Tell me what's happening behind the scenes. You'll leave with a straight answer, even if it's that you don't need me.
